The mission of the ilovesports.ca is to provide a medium for sporting enthusiasts to connect with each other through message forums, web sites, and advertising. To facilitate this, we have laid a set of guidelines that all members are required to read and adhere to. We take pride in trying to keep the material on this web site true to the nature of the posting section. We will edit or reject any post that violates these rules, and terminate the membership, based on the severity of the violation, of any member who acts in a manner inconsistent with the letter or spirit of these rules.

While every precaution is taken to ensure integrity with all our posts, please understand that some violations may go undetected. We encourage our users to feedback any material they deem unsuitable for a web site such as ours by contacting our forum administrators.

Please use this site by following the guidelines listed below:

1. Please post in the appropriate forum (ie: tournament posts should be in the tournament section)
2. We recommend that you use the First Contact mechanism built into this system. This mechanism limits responders to respond to your ad through our system. This ensures that your email address is guarded from webbots as responders must also give their email address in order to respond to you
3. We recommend that you do not post your phone number or any address information in your ads and/or messages. Use the First Contact mechanism before giving that information to your responder. If you want to post your phone number, we do allow you to do this, however you will do so at your own risk.
4. Flaming will not be tolerated in any forum. Differences in opinion are expected, but please debate respectfully. (Flaming is making comments for the purpose of insulting somebody else with negative intent, looking for a negative reaction, or blatantly insulting somebody)
5. Racist remarks will not be permitted
6. Posting porn or materials of a sexual nature are prohibited and will result in membership cancellation and email blocking
7. Do not upload, post or otherwise transmit any contents that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
8. Do not post about your own website for promotional purposes anywhere on the forum, except in our 'Advertisements' forum only (Businesses, Teams, and Leagues).
